Position Summary

Adjunct faculty at Stevenson University will engage in teaching activities in accordance with the University’s faculty workload policies. Teaching responsibilities include courses in the online BS in Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics or MS in Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics programs offered by the IS Department, Brown School of Business and Leadership.

Essential Functions

• Engage in instructional activity totaling no more than 18 contact hours per academic year, with no more than 9 contact hours in an individual semester.
• Teach online courses and prepare course materials.
• Maintain competence in subjects being taught.
• Confer with students, review exams and papers, evaluate presentations and projects.
• Provide academic accommodations for students with disabilities.
• Write syllabi, respond to emails promptly, grade coursework timely.
• Submit grades and reports on time, and alert university personnel to student issues.
• Complete required training or professional development.
• Uphold collegiality, professionalism, and ethical conduct.
• Follow all faculty and program policies.
• Teaching may include day, evening, online, or hybrid classes.
