Job summary

The University of Scranton’s Department Counseling and Human Services seeks a part-time Adjunct Faculty to teach Counseling courses as needed. Applicants should hold a Master’s or higher in Counseling or related fields; ABD or PhD preferred. Prior teaching experience and scheduling flexibility are desired.

Certification such as LPC, NCC, or CRC is a plus. Position open date 05/22/2026; open until filled; posting number F00607P; authorization to work in US required; no immigration sponsorship

The University of Scranton’s Department of Counseling and Human Services has an ongoing need for highly qualified part-time faculty to staff a variety of courses each semester in the fields of Counseling and Human Services. Adjunct faculty may instruct one or more courses each semester on an “as needed” basis.
