Job summary

Qualifications

  • Collaborate with support services to address student needs.
  • Utilize College technology including LMS, email, calendars, and SIS.
  • Meet deadlines and maintain accurate records.
  • Ensure labs have supplies and equipment is safe.
  • Foster a positive, student-centered environment.

Position Summary::

Rowan-Cabarrus Community College is hiring adjunct faculty to teach courses in the Social & Human Services program. Faculty will teach a variety of SAB and HSE prefix courses mostly during day time hours. This is not an online-only position, but may include online, hyflex, or hybrid classes in the future. All interested applicants must be able to teach in-person, or you will not be considered for the position.

Required Education/Experience::
  • Master’s degree in Human Services, Counseling or Social Work; or,
  • Master’s degree and 18 hours in Human Services, Counseling, and/or Social Work.
Preferred Education/Experience/Skills::
  • Preferred Licensure or Provisional License in counseling or social work.
  • LCAS or experience in addiction & recovery field
Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities::
  • Canvas, QM, MindTap platforms.
