Job summary

Sinclair Community College is seeking adjunct faculty to teach at Southern Ohio Correctional facilities in Lucasville and Chillicothe, Ohio. Starting pay is $1,046 per credit hour assigned. Position is open to residents of Ohio, Indiana, or Kentucky or those able to perform work in one of these states.

Part-time adjunct staff are employed in accordance with state tax and benefits rules. Responsibilities include developing syllabi, delivering instruction, using instructional tech, maintaining

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in management, business, marketing, or related field required, or a master’s with at least 18 graduate hours in the content area.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize instruction in ways that maximize student learning.
• Prepare, distribute and submit syllabi for all assigned sections in accordance with department policies.
• Employ appropriate teaching strategies and instructional technology.
• Modify teaching methods to meet diverse student needs.
• Promote student success and maintain student progress records.
• Submit final grade rosters by deadlines.
• Maintain confidentiality of student information.
• Cannot exceed maximum 12 credit hours per semester.
