Northern Essex Community College in Haverhill seeks an adjunct instructor for Human Biology (BIO101) for Fall 2026. Courses will be delivered in-person on the Haverhill campus; lecture times include 12:30pm–1:45pm Tue/Thu as part of the Early College program.
We invite applications for a pool of adjuncts to teach biology, anatomy and physiology on an as-needed basis. Positions may include day and evening face-to-face classes, with potential online or hybrid training. Reports to the Dean of STEM.
POSITION: Adjunct Faculty - Biology: Natural Science Department; Division of STEM; Haverhill Campus; MCCC/MTA DCE Unit Position.
SUMMARY: For Fall 2026, we are seeking an adjunct instructor for Human Biology (BIO101). This course will be delivered in-person on the Haverhill campus. The lecture portion of the course meets from 12:30pm to 1:45pm on Tuesday / Thursday. This course is part of our Early College program.
We are also accepting applications for our pool of Adjunct Faculty to teach various Biology Courseson an as needed basis for the Fall 2026 semester and beyond.Successful applicants would teach courses in Biology, or Anatomy and Physiology.Seeking instructors for primarily dayandeveningface-to-faceclasses, which could include Early College classes. Futurepossibility of online or hybrid instructionexists and would require successful completion of mandatory training.Adjunct faculty will engage in a critical role in the teaching and learning process, contributing to student success.

SALARY: $1,512.00/credit - $1,826.00/credit, per credit based on DCE step, per the DCE Contract, non-benefited.
ANTICIPATED START DATE: As needed, based on departmental requirements and candidate availability.
