Job summary

Northern Essex Community College in Haverhill seeks an adjunct instructor for Human Biology (BIO101) for Fall 2026. Courses will be delivered in-person on the Haverhill campus; lecture times include 12:30pm–1:45pm Tue/Thu as part of the Early College program.

We invite applications for a pool of adjuncts to teach biology, anatomy and physiology on an as-needed basis. Positions may include day and evening face-to-face classes, with potential online or hybrid training. Reports to the Dean of STEM.

Qualifications

• For a related field; master’s degree required.
• Experience teaching at the college level.
• Experience using technology in instruction and assessment.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned courses according to the catalog and learning outcomes.
• Adhere to NECC policies and contract requirements, including grading and meetings.
