CCM seeks dedicated adjunct instructors to teach Arabic language courses. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about sharing their knowledge of the Arabic language and its associated cultures.
All adjunct faculty positions have as their primary objective to create a dynamic teaching/learning environment for our students, while contributing service to the college. The responsibilities include teaching assigned courses and following the course description and course outline established by the department. Teaching schedules may include day/evening courses and online/hybrid instruction. In accordance with the Adjunct Faculty collective bargaining agreement (CBA), additional responsibilities may include participation in departmental initiatives, such as assessment, and responding to requests regarding grades, grade submissions, and other course-related content.
A minimum of a Master’s degree in Arabic (Language or Literature), Arabic/Area Studies, or related field from a regionally accredited institution.
Prior college or university teaching experience preferred.
Native or near‑native fluency in Arabic. Demonstrated knowledge of language teaching and learning methodologies and techniques. Familiarity with Blackboard and other instructional technologies desired. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
