Job summary

CCBC seeks adjunct faculty to teach Anthropology and Sociology at Catonsville, Owings Mills, Essex, Dundalk, or off-site locations. Adjunct level 1 pays $1,085 per credit hour, with selection based on program needs and applicant proficiency.

A Master’s degree is required and teaching experience is preferred. Responsibilities include preparing and delivering instruction, following course outlines, assessing student work, and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Anthropology or Sociology or related field.
• Adjunct faculty selected based on the needs of the program, applicant proficiency, course availability, and student enrollment.
• Prior teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver course instruction, follow common course outlines and policies.
• Grade, critique and evaluate student work, provide timely feedback to students.
• Keep and submit accurate classroom records and attend required trainings and meetings.
