Job summary

MCPHS University School of Pharmacy – Boston seeks an adjunct faculty member to deliver high quality learning experiences for students in the Pharmaceutical Business and Administrative Sciences department. The role includes delivering instruction in-person, online, or blended formats and providing students with a syllabus that defines objectives and outcomes.

You will use the University LMS to post materials, hold office hours via videoconference, and mentor students through course development

Qualifications

• Advanced degree with coursework in Pharmaceutical Business and Admin Sciences and 5+ years of experience, or 10+ years of relevant experience.
• At least 1 year of teaching or formal instructional training experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to use Blackboard LMS.
• Commitment to undergraduate, graduate and professional education and student success.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and interact with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Deliver didactic instruction via in-person, online, or blended formats for the program.
• Provide students with a syllabus including objectives, outcomes, and evaluation criteria.
• Provide engaging assignments demonstrating real-world applications.
• Utilize the University LMS to post materials and communicate with students.
• Advise and assist students through office hours, videoconference, phone or email.
• Provide mentoring, course development, and assessment services.
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned by the supervisor.
