Job summary

Qualifications

• PhD degree in Biochemistry or related field is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a Doctor of Pharmacy, Doctor of Medicine, or Physician’s Assistant program.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and interact with a wide array of stakeholders including students, faculty, administration, alumni and external professionals.

Responsibilities

• Delivers didactic instruction in an in-person format for PharmD students.
• Provides syllabus with objectives, outcomes, teaching methods, and evaluation criteria.
• Creates engaging assignments that illustrate real-world applications of Biochemistry concepts.
• Uses the university LMS to post materials and communicate with students.
• Advises and assists students through office hours or scheduled appointments via videoconference, phone, or email.
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned by the supervisor.
