Job summary

Guilford Technical Community College (GTCC) invites passionate educators to teach Drama/Theatre courses within the Associate in Fine Arts in Theatre program. The adjunct faculty member will prepare and teach courses such as Theater Appreciation, Theater History, Acting, Directing, Stagecraft and Play Production, integrating technology as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and teach departmental courses including Theater Appreciation, Theater History, Acting, Directing, Stagecraft, and Play Production.
• Incorporate current technology into classroom, distance learning and laboratory environments as appropriate.
• Maintain a quality learning environment that supports a diverse student population.
• Prepare, distribute and utilize instructional materials such as syllabi, media and other resources.
• Develop and document assessments of student learning outcomes in courses and programs.
