Marion Technical College is seeking an Adjunct Faculty member to teach dental hygiene courses and provide student support across campus and off-site locations. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate records, developing syllabi, and delivering instruction using applied learning methods in line with CODA standards.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree or higher; experience in higher education and strong English communication skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• All faculty teaching in a didactic course must have a bachelor’s or higher degree.
• Faculty teaching clinical/lab courses must have an associate or higher degree.
• Faculty must have current knowledge of their subjects and appropriate teaching methodologies.
• Dental hygiene faculty must be graduates of CODA-accredited programs; internationally trained professionals may qualify via credentialing.

Responsabilités

• Respond to inquiries from students, College employees and customers while maintaining confidentiality.
• Maintain a minimum of two office hours per week, in person or online.
• Teach approved courses using applied learning methods following course objectives and syllabus.
• Create engaging learning environments and maintain course materials and records.
