This is a CONTINUOUS recruitment for an applicant POOL to fill part-time/adjunct assignments on an as-needed basis. Departments or Divisions will refer to the POOL of applications on file to fill temporary assignments as the need arises. You will be contacted by the hiring manager should the department/division be interested in scheduling an interview. COMPUTER SCIENCE / INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY – ADJUNCT :
The purpose of this position is to teach assigned courses in a variety of times and locations in response to institutional need, and maintain appropriate professional relationships with students, colleagues and the community. Courses may include online courses and/or dual-credit/early college classes.
To instruct transfer courses: Master’s degree in Computer Science or in a related field with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in Computer Science and/or Information Technology.
To instruct workforce courses: Bachelor’s degree in a related field AND five (5) years of work experience within the field.
Demonstrate skill, knowledge, and abilities in the Computer Science/Information Technology field.
Experience in teaching.
Applicants must reside in the state of Texas and be eligible to work in the United States.
