Job summary

Del Mar College invites applications for the ADJUNCT – MATHEMATICS pool to teach courses in a variety of times and locations in response to institutional need, including online and dual-credit/early college classes.

Job Description Summary

ADJUNCT – MATHEMATICS :
The purpose of this position is to teach assigned courses in a variety of times and locations in response to institutional need, and maintain appropriate professional relationships with students, colleagues and the community. Courses may include online courses and/or dual-credit/early college classes.

Minimum Qualifications

To instruct credit courses: Master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in the discipline.
To instruct developmental courses: Bachelor’s degree.

Required Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Demonstrate skill, knowledge, and abilities in the teaching discipline.

Preferred Qualifications

Successful college teaching experience experience utilizing instructional technologies, including computers, internet resources and other appropriate media in instruction.
