This is a CONTINUOUS recruitment for an applicant POOL to fill part-time/adjunct assignments on an as‑needed basis. Position Summary Information

The purpose of this position is to teach assigned courses in a variety of times and locations in response to institutional need, and maintain appropriate professional relationships with students, colleagues and the community. Courses may include online courses and/or dual-credit/early college classes.

Minimum Qualifications

Associate’s degree in discipline. Two (2) years work experience within the field.

Required Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Ability to plan course instruction based upon approved syllabus/ outline provided to insure course content and objectives are met. Ability to utilize a variety of teaching styles and methods to accommodate diverse learning styles of students.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience teaching at the secondary or college level. Experience teaching college level online courses and/or documented successful training in a college online learning management system (e.g. Blackboard, Canvas)
