Responsibilities

• Mastery of subject matter including thorough knowledge of the field and staying current through professional development.
• Plan and organize instruction to maximize student learning; employ appropriate teaching strategies and technology.
• Evaluate student learning with objective-based methods; maintain accurate records and submit grade rosters each term.
• Support college policies: meet scheduled classes, prepare syllabi and course outlines, protect student confidentiality, steward facilities and materials.
• Participate in college and program activities; contribute to curriculum development; attend meetings and events as feasible.
• Contribute to college mission, goals and long-range plans; assist in planning and development where appropriate.
