Ivy Tech Community College is seeking adjunct faculty on a part-time, course-by-course basis to create a learning environment that helps students reach their goals and to deliver instruction within the framework of common syllabi.
Responsibilities include teaching assigned classes, developing course syllabi, maintaining attendance and grading records, using Canvas and PowerPoint, and ensuring accessibility for diverse student populations.
About the Role:
Adjunct Faculty positions are temporary, part-time positions hired each semester on an as-needed basis. The adjunct faculty member will be responsible for creating a learning environment that assists students in reaching their goals; and for providing effective instruction and assessment within the framework of common syllabi provided by the School.
A qualified faculty member meets the discipline standard through one of two routes:
