Qualifications

• Masters (or higher) in Nursing preferred.
• 2 years of recent direct patient care nursing experience in Population-Health.
• Bachelor's in nursing with 3 years of Population-Health experience and enrolled in graduate program or hold relevant national certification.

Responsibilities

• Reinforce didactic content and teach the knowledge and skills for pre-licensure nursing.
• Collaborate with content area faculty to evaluate and document student progress toward clinical objectives.
• Participate in grading written and clinical performance check-offs.
• Remain current with new trends and development in the specific field of nursing practice.
• Maintain compliance with requirements for program accreditation.
• Uphold the tenets of nursing and the pillars of the University.
• Travel to GCU student sites to observe student performance.
• Support the university program in all areas including alignment with the institution's philosophy and service to the community.
