Qualifications

• Bachelor's in nursing and 3 years of direct Critical Care nursing experience.
• Active, current, unencumbered RN license (multi-state/compact).
• Must pass drug test and competency testing.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with students.

Responsibilities

• Reinforce didactic content for pre-licensure nursing.
• Collaborate with faculty to evaluate and document student progress toward clinical objectives.
• Participate in grading written and clinical performance checkoffs.
• Remain current with new trends and development in nursing practice.
• Maintain compliance with accreditation requirements.
• Travel to GCU student sites to observe student performance.
• Support the university program and community service initiatives.
• Uphold the Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.
