Job summary

Northampton Community College is seeking an Adjunct Baking & Pastry Instructor to lead culinary students in hands-on kitchen and classroom settings. The role includes overseeing production in the onsite culinary restaurant and delivering structured baking & pastry instruction.

The instructor will ensure safety and sanitation, mentor students, and collaborate with staff to support the college’s culinary program and student success.

Qualifications

• Dynamic individual with strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience in baking & pastry instruction or related culinary instruction.
• Ability to supervise and mentor students in kitchen and classroom environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of culinary students in kitchen and/or classroom settings.
• Oversee production of baked goods for an onsite culinary restaurant.
• Provide classroom baking & pastry instruction.
• Ensure proper safety and sanitation practices in the kitchen.
• Communicate effectively with students and staff of the college and culinary program.
