Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nursing from a regionally accredited institution.
• Current Missouri State RN license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Two years of nursing education, clinical practice, or administration in the last five years.

Responsibilities

• Provide orientation, evaluation and guidance of course objectives.
• Deliver high-quality instruction using approved curriculum and resources.
• Develop a syllabus for each class taught using approved templates.
• Incorporate active learning and problem-based teaching strategies.
• Create an inclusive classroom and ensure accessibility for all learners.
• Maintain five office hours per week in varied formats.
• Engage in professional development and curriculum activities.
• Deliver accurate academic advising and participate in college events.
