Overview
We offer a BACB-approved course sequence for students seeking the BCBA credential and eligibility for the New York State Licensed Behavior Analyst credential. The successful candidate will support our growing student population through teaching, advising, collaborating on research initiatives, and working with other programs within the department.
Responsibilities
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Teaching at least one graduate course in MS and Advanced Certificate programs
- Preparing course materials such as syllabi, homework, and handouts
- Recording and reporting student data accurately and promptly
- Supporting students’ learning goals by focusing on outcomes, accommodating individual needs, and maintaining academic integrity
- Being available to assist students in achieving their goals
Qualifications
Education, Preparation, and Training- Doctoral degree in behavior analysis, education, or psychology, with a concentration in Behavior Analysis if in education or psychology
- BCBA or BCBA-D with supervision training and New York LBA license or eligibility
- Experience teaching applied behavior analysis at the graduate level
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Proficiency with educational technology
- Commitment to multicultural and urban education settings
- Knowledge of current relevant research
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SPSS, data analysis in Excel, CANVAS, and Google Scholar
Travel
- Manhattan and/or Brooklyn
Salary Range
- Maximum: USD $4,250.00/Semester
- Minimum: USD $3,250.00/Semester
