LOCATION: Fully RemotePOSITION SUMMARY: The Adjudicator is responsible for providing suitability and national security adjudicative support in accordance with the relevant adjudicative guidelines, executive orders, and customer policies. This is completed through applying sound judgement in evaluating investigative information, preparing adjudicative documents and personnel security directives.

Responsibilities include:

• Review, analyze, summarize and evaluate reports of investigations, issues and potentially derogatory information to recommend fitness, suitability and NSE to the customer.
• Make adjudicative recommendations in accordance with the federal suitability and security adjudication guidelines.
• Determine if additional inquiries are necessary to resolve potential issues or clarify information.
• Strictly apply customer required guidelines, standards, doctrines and/or Executive Orders.
• Manage caseload and follow customer timelines and quality standards.
• Ensure information and recommendations are documented and entered accurately into customer systems.
• Prepare written evaluations and complex correspondence of issues, including but not limited to Notices of Proposed Actions (NOPA), Letters of Interrogatory (LOI), and Notices of Determination (NOD).
• Draft personnel security correspondence.
• Complete other case-related administrative functions.
• Prepare weekly or monthly reports of completed cases and workload.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements include:

• Must have an Associate’s degree and at least three (3) years of specialized experience (5 years preferred) making adjudicative recommendations and/or determinations for fitness, suitability, and NSE.
• This experience should include in-depth knowledge of investigative requirements for the evaluation and adjudication of Federal background investigations.
• All individuals performing adjudicative services must have federal agency adjudication experience, completed federal agency NTS compliant adjudications training, DCSA Center for Development of Security Excellence (CDSE) adjudications training or the more recent Suite EA adjudications training in accordance with the National Training Standards (NTS) for Adjudicators before beginning work on the contract.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must be able to undergo a federal background investigation, at level determined by position.
