Job summary

Fortis College in Cincinnati is seeking an experienced Mathematics Instructor to teach Mathematics in our skilled trade programs. The part-time faculty member will teach two courses per term, with one or two preparations, and provide academic advising to students.

Job Description

We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic faculty member to teach Mathematics in our various skilled trade programs . This is a part- time , professional position reporting directly to the Dean of Education . The primary responsibility will be to teach Mathematics courses . The typical teaching load is two courses each term, with one or two preparations. Applicants will also be expected to provide academic advising to students, and participate in department training, meetings, and graduation .

Requirements

• A master degree in Mathematics or related subject; a bachelor degree with at least 18 semester credit hours in postgraduate level mathematics will be considered for the right person
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly organized, motivated, and results-driven
• Prior higher education/postsecondary teaching experience preferred
