Job summary

Fortis College in Cincinnati is seeking an experienced Mathematics Instructor to teach Mathematics in our skilled trade programs. The part-time faculty member will teach two courses per term, with one or two preparations, and provide academic advising to students.

Reporting to the Dean of Education, the ideal candidate will hold a master’s degree in Mathematics or a related field and demonstrate strong communication and organizational abilities.

Qualifications

• Master's in Mathematics or related field required or a bachelor's with graduate math hours.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential.
• Highly organized, motivated, and results-driven with teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach Mathematics courses in our programs; typical load is two courses per term.
• Provide academic advising to students and participate in department activities.
• Assist with departmental training, meetings, and graduation activities.
