Job summary

DuPont is hiring a nonexempt operator at our site in West Alexandria, OH. This role performs duties to operate chemical processes, load materials, package products, and ensure adherence to SOPs while maintaining safety and quality standards on a 12‑hour rotating shift including holidays and overtime.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, ability to lift 55 lbs, and willingness to work varying conditions with PPE as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Willing to work a 12-hour rotating shift, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Ability to lift 55 lbs and work in varying conditions; PPE provided as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate chemical processes or systems using computer systems or semi-automatic equipment.
• Load raw materials, transfer chemicals, package finished product, and operate/troubleshoot equipment.
• Ensure quality and conformance with SOPs; follow safety standards at all times.
• Move control settings to adjust equipment, monitor indicators, and respond to alarms.
• Collaborate with team during shifts, raise issues, and prepare area for next shift.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities and work with others to solve problems.
