Job summary

DuPont's Stow, Ohio site is a clean, climate-controlled light manufacturing facility seeking a Production Technician to operate presses, ovens, and basic assembly equipment with a focus on safety and quality.

You'll join a shift-based team (2nd or 3rd shift) with overtime, a $1,000 bonus after 90 days, and a shift premium on late hours while contributing to meeting production schedules and customer specifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Willing and able to occasionally lift and move objects weighing up to 55 lbs.
• Willing and able to wear a respirator.

Responsibilities

• Operate presses, ovens, and basic assembly equipment.
• Ensure quality and conformance with standard operating procedures and standard equipment instructions.
• Visually inspect the final product for defects: FOD and adherence to customer specifications.
• Use inspection gauges, i.e., micrometers, calipers, automated gauges (Keyence), and templates.
• Complete in-house training to obtain visual and dimensional inspection stamps.

Our Stow, Ohio site is a clean, climate-controlled light manufacturing facility.

The positions at this site work first, second, or third shift. The site may work holidays, weekends, and overtime, offering shift premium and holiday pay when applicable.

The Production Technician performs various light manufacturing operations including handling liquid resins, hot press and oven operation, and assembly processes necessary to make parts. With safety and quality at the forefront, the production technician must be detail-oriented and closely adhere to all rules, regulations, and standards (AS9100D) while meeting production schedules. Maintaining the highest ethical standards is critical to the success of this role.

We're offering a $1,000 bonus after 90 days for this position!

Shift Pay:

• The starting wage is $23.83 per hour.
• 2nd or 3rd shifts receive a $2.50/hr shift premium between 3:00 pm-7:00 am

We are currently hiring for the 2nd shift; 2:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m. and 3rd shift; 10:00 p.m. - 6:30 a.m. The technician must be able and willing to work overtime and be flexible in work hours to meet business needs.

Bonus Details:

You will receive one bonus payment of $1,000 upon completing onboarding/training and 90 days of employment.

Your key responsibilities will be/what you’ll do:

• Operate presses, ovens, and basic assembly equipment.

• Visually inspect the final product for defects: Foreign Object Debris (FOD) and adherence to customer specifications.
• Use inspection gages, i.e., micrometers, calipers, automated gages (Keyence), and templates.
• Complete in-house training to obtain visual and dimensional inspection stamps.

This position requires U.S. citizenship to obtain any required Export Authorization due to required Export Compliance.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Willing and able to occasionally lift and move objects weighing up to 55 lbs.
• Willing and able to wear a respirator.

Highly Preferred:

• Knowledge of lean manufacturing processes.
• Understanding of 5S organizational practice.
• 2+ years prior manufacturing experience.
