Job summary

InnovAge is seeking the Manager of the Adult Day Health Center (ADHC) Services to provide daily leadership and management of staff and activities, ensuring efficient operations and a professional level of service.

The ADHC Services Manager supervises center technicians, recreation and food service staff, and collaborates with clinical teams to maintain continuity of care and meet IDT care plans while upholding safety, licensing, and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years supervisory experience with frail/geriatric population.
• 3+ years in nursing, social work, psychology, gerontology, geriatric rehabilitation or recreation therapy with ability to build effective teams.
• 1+ year experience working with the frail or elderly.
• StateServ certification obtained within 30 days of employment.
• Bachelor’s degree in human services, therapeutic recreation, geriatrics or a related field or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing the annual operation budget for the ADHC and monitor expenditures to meet budget goals.
• Serve as operator when Center Director is absent and fulfill state requirements.
• Ensure compliance with licensing, accreditation, and certification requirements.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of the center.
• Coordinate delivery of supplies and personal care items for participants.
• Oversee repairs and maintenance with facilities department.
• Maintain records and statistics for program evaluation and continuity of participant services.
• Collaborate with the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) to implement care plans and maintain continuity of care.
• Respond to participant and employee complaints promptly and professionally.
• Ensure staff follow participant care plans and monitor changes in participants’ condition.
• Plan and assign activities to meet cognitive, physical, social, psychosocial, spiritual, and artistic needs, including dementia-specific programming.
