Job summary

VulcanForms Inc. in Massachusetts is seeking an Engineering Technician to operate, maintain, and optimize LPBF printers for applications development and production readiness.

This hands-on role translates part designs into successful print builds while ensuring equipment readiness, print quality, and thorough documentation. You will work Monday–Wednesday and every other Thursday, 6pm–6am, collaborating with engineers to refine workflows, parameters, and materials for repeatable, scalable prints

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in additive manufacturing or hands-on production.
• Familiarity with 3D printing concepts; LPBF experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain LPBF printers for development and production needs.
• Prepare and execute print jobs using printer software and parameters.
• Support development by delivering accurate print builds on schedule and with documentation.
• Assist with printer qualification and validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ) and recordkeeping.
• Collaborate with engineers to refine workflows, materials, and print parameters.
