Job summary

Divergent is advancing additive manufacturing for aerospace and automotive sectors, seeking a hands-on Additive Manufacturing Equipment Engineer to move L-PBF production equipment from development to high-volume manufacturing. You’ll stabilize new machines, improve reliability, and help establish fleet-wide engineering standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related discipline.
• 4–6 years of manufacturing/equipment engineering experience.
• Experience launching or ramping production equipment or processes.
• Strong troubleshooting across mechanical/electrical/controls.

Responsibilities

• Support transition of new production equipment from qualification into sustained manufacturing.
• Improve equipment reliability, throughput, yield, and OEE on assigned machines.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, controls, and process issues in production.
• Provide production feedback to design engineering on machine performance and reliability.
• Support RCCA investigations and corrective actions for equipment failures.
