Job summary

Divergent in Los Angeles is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Process & Equipment Engineer to help transition next-generation Laser Powder Bed Fusion production equipment from development into high-volume manufacturing.

You will ensure production equipment is stable, reliable, scalable, and capable of delivering safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance across multiple factories, solving machine-level problems and contributing to engineering standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with additive manufacturing, preferably laser powder bed fusion.
• Hands-on engineering in manufacturing environments.
• Strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues on L-PBF production systems.
• Help transfer processes from development to high-volume manufacturing and establish engineering standards.
• Collaborate with equipment owners to improve uptime, quality, and safety.
