Qualifications

  • Experience recruiting, training, and supervising undergraduate research assistants.
  • Experience in lab research settings.
  • Familiarity with SCID and other diagnostic tools.
  • Experience handling human biological specimens (saliva, urine).
  • Strong multitasking and prioritization under changing workload and deadlines.
  • Clear written and verbal communication with participants.
  • Excellent organization and communication with lab personnel.
  • Ability to work in a team and independently with minimal direction.
  • Advanced computer skills: word processing, email, spreadsheets, databases.
  • Knowledge of SPSS and study-related software (e.g., Qualtrics).
  • Interest in clinical psychology and addictions.
  • Willingness to learn PAC system.
  • Discretion with confidential materials.
  • Familiarity with UCLA CTRC scheduling procedures is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, screen, and retain community research participants.
  • Coordinate data entry and regulatory aspects of the study protocol.
  • Train and supervise undergraduate research assistants.
  • Maintain accurate records and support lab operations.
