Qualifikationen

• Acceptable degrees include Social Work, Psychology, Addiction, Counseling, Human Services, Criminal Justice, and more.
• Counselor I requires an Associate’s degree with 2 years of clinical experience or a Bachelor’s degree with 1 year of clinical experience.
• Counselor II requires an Associate’s degree with 3 years of clinical experience or a Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of clinical experience.
• Counselor III requires a Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of clinical experience; Master’s degree in related field with no experience or with 1 year of clinical experience can apply.

Aufgaben

• Be responsible for a caseload of clients, as identified by program requirements and in accordance with state regulations.
• Complete required evaluations and assessments, including screening, intake, clinical assessments, ASAM and biopsychosocial histories.
• Document all clinical services and interventions performed within the client's electronic health record and complete monthly treatment reports.
• Maintain accurate electronic health records on each client and ensure timely completion of tasks.
