Gaudenzia, Inc. seeks an Addictions Counselor to join our Crownsville, MD team. This full-time role supports individuals on their recovery journey with compassionate, evidence-based care.

Qualifications

• Maryland ADT certification required; CSC-AD, CAC-AD, LGADC, LGPC, LCPC, LCADC or LICSW/LCSW preferred.
• Experience in Human Services field.
• All counseling candidates must have, at minimum, an Alcohol and Drug Trainee certification (ADT) through the Maryland Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for a caseload of clients, as identified by program requirements and in accordance with state regulations.
• Complete required evaluations and assessments, including screening, intake, clinical assessments, ASAM and biopsychosocial histories.
• Develop individual treatment plans upon client's admission.
• Document all clinical services and interventions in the client's EHR and complete monthly treatment reports.
• Coordinate with agency and community resources to ensure a thorough treatment plan.
