New Season is hiring a Substance Abuse Counselor to deliver individual, group, and family counseling within an outpatient setting. You will collaborate with a treatment team to assess and address the clinical needs of patients, contributing to their overall wellbeing and recovery.

Essential duties include completing intakes and treatment plans, documenting progress, and educating patients about treatment options. Day-one benefits and a strong PTO plan accompany this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field is required and an active Kentucky CADC is required.
• Experience in the substance abuse field is preferred but not required.

Responsabilités

• Complete intakes, admissions, discharges, and transfer paperwork.
• Document patient progress through counseling and group sessions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans within required time frames.
• Identify clinical/case management needs and address them.
• Provide individual, group, and family counseling as required.
• Ensure at least 20 hours of direct patient contact weekly.
• Educate patients on treatment options and recovery steps.
• Adhere to program and company policies and protect proprietary data.
