Job summary

New Season is seeking a Substance Abuse Counselor to provide individual, group, and family counseling within a collaborative treatment team including a Medical Director, Program Director, and Nurses. You will identify patient needs and develop treatment plans to support overall well-being in an outpatient setting.

Applicants must hold active MO CADC/CRADC/CRAADC/CCJP/CCDP/CCDP‑D/RADC/RADC‑P licenses. Experience in substance abuse is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Active license/certification in Missouri for CADC/CRADC/CRAADC/CCJP/CCDP/CCDP-D/RADC/RADC-P is required.
• Experience in the substance abuse field preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work with patients to complete intakes, admissions, discharges, and transfer paperwork.
• Document patient progress through counseling and interaction through groups.
• Complete patient psychosocial and individualized treatment plans within required timeframes.
• Identify clinical/case management needs and address them.
• Provide individual, group, and family counseling as required.
• Maintain at least 20 hours of direct patient contact per week.
• Educate patients on treatment aspects and recovery steps.
• Obtain Urine Drug Screens and initial patient photos.
