Job summary

Pacific Clinics is seeking a dedicated APS II to implement Addiction Prevention Services across designated schools, community sites, or agency campuses. You will support collaboration between the agency and schools to ensure effective prevention activities and client engagement.

Under supervision, you will coordinate referrals, co-lead groups, and document outcomes, with a focus on client stability and recovery within a team-based approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mental Health or related field and 1 year of relevant experience.
• Drug and Alcohol training and experience required or CAADAC certification.

Responsibilities

• Serves as an active participant in providing Pacific Clinics APS services with the school or programs core team.
• Works with referral sources to present to groups (students, parents, teachers, staff).
• Co-leads APS groups following the designated curriculum.
• Receives, reviews, and processes referrals; screens clients for APS services with supervisor/manager.
• Provides referral sources for clients and families for services at locations such as on site, school, or community.
• Initiates and receives written consent for each participant.
• Completes outcome measures and program evaluations.
• Collects required documentation and reports.
• Provides initial evaluations, recommendations, and follow-up resources at the end of each group.
• Performs other related responsibilities to support department/business needs.
