Job summary
Mass General Brigham's Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital is seeking an Addiction Medicine SUD Nurse Practitioner to join the Addiction Consult Team. The envisioned schedule is 9-6 with four 10-hour shifts and no weekends or holidays. This onsite role provides psychiatric assessments and comprehensive care plans within a collaborative team.
The position requires a Master's in Nursing, Massachusetts NP license (CARN-NP preferred), and at least 2 years of psychiatric NP experience.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in nursing required for NP licensure.
- Massachusetts NP license required; CARN-NP preferred or obtainable within 18 months.
- Minimum 2 years of psychiatric nurse practitioner experience.
- Ability to provide psychiatric assessments and develop treatment plans.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct care, counseling, and teaching to psychiatric patients.
- Complete biopsychosocial and psychopharmacological evaluations.
- Perform histories and physical examinations.
- Order tests and interpret results; develop care plans.
- Document thoroughly and maintain patient records.
- Collaborate with a team including physicians, social workers, and recovery coaches.
