Job summary

Rosecrance New Life in Davenport, IA seeks a full-time counselor to deliver addiction treatment services to clients and families. You will provide individual, family and group counseling in a therapeutic environment and develop care plans aligned with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include conducting psychosocial assessments, coordinating case management, and educating clients on recovery. EHR proficiency and teamwork are essential, with on-site work hours Mon–Fri.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Addiction Studies or related field.
• Minimum tCADC or licensure within 90 days of hire or transfer (LBSW/LMSW/tLMHC or equivalent).
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems preferred.
• Ability to complete required documentation within set timeframes.
• Experience conducting individual, family and group counseling.

Responsibilities

• Participate as a team member in delivering addictions treatment to clients and families.
• Deliver individual, family and group counseling in a therapeutic setting.
• Complete client psychosocial assessments and individualized treatment plans within required timeframes.
• Identify client needs and coordinate case management and services.
• Educate clients and support members on treatment, health issues and recovery steps.
• Present workshops and trainings for clients, families, staff and community groups.
