Qualifications

• Education: Certified Associate Counselor-Alcohol and Drug with Board Approved Supervision letter.
• Experience: Certification and supervision as required by the Maryland Board.
• Knowledge of COMAR standards for substance abuse treatment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and evaluate addiction counselors' work and ensure COMAR compliance.
• Provide corrective recommendations to improve counseling services.
• Assign data collection and reporting tasks to counselors.
• Review procedures for SUD assessments and counseling interventions.
• Review clinical files for timely documentation.
• Maintain liaison with community addiction providers for aftercare.
• Participate in continued professional development through training.
