Job summary

New Mexico Treatment Services, LLC in Santa Fe, NM seeks a Counselor to deliver direct addiction treatment services to adults and families. You will conduct individual and group counseling, develop treatment plans with patient input, and coordinate with medical staff to ensure continuity of care.

Required four-year degree in counseling or related field and a valid NM license (LSAA, LADAC, LMHC, LPCC, LMFT, LMSW or LISW). A valid driver’s license or state ID is also required.

• Four-year degree in counseling or related field; active NM license (LSAA, LADAC, LMHC, LPCC, LMFT, LMSW or LISW) required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license or state ID.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling to patients.
• Direct training groups and seminars; provide therapeutic leadership in group sessions.
• Coordinate with community agencies and law enforcement to ensure continuity of treatment and referrals.
• Complete intake assessments and develop treatment plans with patient input.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure proper release of information for external referrals.
• Maintain and secure patient files per DHHS regulations; ensure documentation is complete and timely.
• Assist in discharge planning and contribute to CQI monitoring and program improvement.
