Job summary

Affect is seeking compassionate licensed Substance Use Disorder counselors in New Mexico to provide fully remote, evidence-based care to our Members. This state-specific role requires an active New Mexico license and telehealth delivery.

You will conduct intake assessments, facilitate individual and group sessions, provide crisis support, maintain EMR documentation, and collaborate with supervisors on treatment planning while ensuring HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience working with substance use disorder populations.
• Comfort providing care via telehealth platforms.
• Strong documentation and organizational skills.
• Private, HIPAA-compliant workspace with reliable internet.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake assessments and evaluate Member readiness for care.
• Facilitate virtual individual and group counseling sessions using Affect’s evidence-based curriculum.
• Provide crisis support and coordinate referrals when needed.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in our EMR.
• Collaborate with clinical supervisors on treatment planning and discharge.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and applicable state regulations.
