Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on Addepar platform experience in wealth/asset management or financial services.
  • 5+ years in data engineering, data analysis, investment operations tech, or enterprise data operations.
  • Deep understanding of the Addepar data model: accounts, entities, portfolios, holdings, transactions, securities, classifications, attributes, benchmarks, performance, reporting views.
  • Experience supporting Addepar data imports/exports, data feeds, integrations, reconciliation, and platform configuration.
  • Proficient SQL with joins, aggregations, data profiling, and large-dataset analysis.
  • Experience diagnosing data quality issues across portfolios, accounts, transactions, positions, security master, performance, reporting datasets.
  • Strong wealth/asset management workflow knowledge: portfolio management, reporting, performance, operations.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into data requirements, mappings, validation rules, and procedures.
  • Strong analytical, communication, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.

Job description

Looking for professionals with 5+ years of Addepar experience, strong SQL, and investment/portfolio data expertise. Experience with holdings, transactions, securities, reconciliation, data quality, and APIs/integrations is highly preferred. Background in wealth management, asset management, or investment operations is a strong plus.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with the Addepar platform in wealth management, asset management, family office, investment advisory, or financial services environment.
  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data analysis, investment operations technology, financial systems support, platform analytics, or enterprise data operations.
  • Strong understanding of the Addepar data model, including accounts, entities, ownership structures, portfolios, holdings, transactions, securities, classifications, attributes, benchmarks, performance, and reporting views.
  • Experience supporting Addepar data imports, exports, data feeds, integrations, reconciliation processes, and platform configuration.
  • Intermediate to advanced SQL skills, including joints, aggregations, data profiling, exception identification, reconciliation, and large-dataset analysis.
  • Experience diagnosing and resolving data quality issues across portfolios, accounts, transaction, position, security master, performance, and reporting datasets.
  • Strong understanding of wealth or asset management workflows, including portfolio management, investment operations, client reporting, performance reporting, alternative investments, and financial reporting.
  • Experience translating business requirements into data requirements, technical specifications, data mappings, validation rules, and operating procedures.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities, production deadlines, and high expectations for accuracy, reliability, and responsiveness.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience integrating Addepar with Snowflake, Databricks, enterprise data warehouses, BI/reporting tools, CRM platforms, client portals, portfolio accounting systems, or investment operations platforms.
  • Experience using Addepar APIs or developer tools to support automated extracts, data enrichment, platform integrations, workflow automation, or downstream reporting processes.
  • Experience with Canoe or similar alternative investment document automation and data extraction.
  • Experience with Snowflake, including data ingestion, transformation, modeling, access controls, data sharing, and consumption-layer design.
  • Experience with Python, dbt, ETL/ELT tools, orchestration platforms, APIs, file-based integrations, and automation scripts.
  • Knowledge of portfolio accounting, investment book of record concepts, performance measurement, client reporting, asset classification, account hierarchy, and investment data governance.
  • Experience developing dashboards, exception reports, reconciliation tools, operational metrics, or analytics datasets.
  • Familiarity with financial services controls, including audit, data lineage, access controls, SOX, AML/KYC, SEC/FINRA, and operational risk requirements.
  • Experience with Agile delivery, SDLC processes, production support, incident management, root-cause analysis, release validation, and change-management procedures.
  • Ability to work across business, data, technology, investment operations, reporting, compliance, and vendor teams to deliver practical, scalable data solutions.
