Systems Engineer (Junior/Mid-Level)
Location: Annapolis Junction, Maryland
Employment: Full-Time, 100% Onsite

Overview

As a Systems Engineer at CyberPoint, you will support the design, integration, and management of complex systems across mission‑critical programs. You'll work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure system requirements are defined, implemented, and aligned with operational needs.

What You’ll Do

• Support systems engineering activities across the full life cycle, including requirements, design, integration, and testing
• Collaborate with software engineers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure system alignment with mission objectives
• Assist in developing and maintaining system documentation and artifacts
• Participate in Agile processes and program execution activities
• Use tools such as Jira and Confluence to track work and manage workflows
• Contribute to system‑level problem solving and technical analysis

Qualifications

• US Citizenship
• Active TS/SCI + Full Scope Polygraph
• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline, or five (5) additional years of systems engineering experience in lieu of a degree
• 7+ years of systems engineering experience on medium‑scale (20–100 personnel) or larger programs/contracts
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar project management tools
• Experience working in Agile frameworks (Scrum, etc.)

What Will Set You Apart

• Experience with SysML tools such as Cameo/MagicDraw or Rhapsody
• INCOSE ASEP or similar systems engineering certification
