Job summary

GlobalLogic is seeking a testing engineer to lead maintenance and feature development for driver information and infotainment software in current automotive platforms. You will ensure backward compatibility and reliable functional coverage, collaborating with suppliers and defining testable specifications using MATLAB/Simulink and Vector tools.

Responsibilities include creating test plans, performing regression testing, and developing automated scripts, with strong emphasis on end-to-end product

Qualifications

• In-depth background in automotive electronics, infotainment and Driver Information domain
• Hands-on experience with ADAS function requirements and supplier coordination
• Proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink and Vector tools for testing and validation
• Experience creating and executing test plans, regression testing, and automation scripts
• Valid Driving License B and relevant engineering degree required

Responsibilities

• Perform software testing ensuring requirements are met
• Update specifications as needed
• Apply knowledge of automotive and infotainment systems
• Use MATLAB/Simulink for test activities
• Utilize CANoe and CANalyzer for testing
• Create and execute test plans and test cases
• Perform regression testing to ensure stability
• Develop or optimize automated test scripts
• Take ownership of product quality and deliverables
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and maintain thorough documentation
• Communicate clearly in English
