Job summary

General Motors is offering an ADAS software internship focused on developing and validating software for advanced driver assistance systems. You may work on application software, mapping software, embedded software, testing, or integration with cross-functional teams.

The role requires enrollment in a full-time degree program in computer science or a related field and the ability to work 40 hours per week. Relocation may be available to Warren or Milford, Michigan.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a full-time degree-seeking program pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s in computer science or related field.
• Able to work full-time, 40 hours per week, during the internship.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, implement, integrate, and test software solutions for ADAS systems.
• Write and maintain code in C, C++, Kotlin, Python, and/or Java.
• Support software development for ADAS application functionality, mapping-related capabilities, or other software components as assigned.
• Analyze software behavior and help improve reliability, performance, and efficiency.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Perform unit testing, regression testing, integration testing, and system testing.
• Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional partners to investigate issues and support software integration.
