Job summary

General Motors' AV Software Organization is seeking an entry-level ADAS Platform Software Verification Engineer to help define, implement, and optimize system testing for the AV/ADAS stack across HIL, SIL, and VIL environments.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to reproduce issues, build automation, and ensure compliance with safety standards, gaining hands-on experience on Linux/QNX-based platforms and vehicle networks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in CS/CE/EE or related field.
• Experience with Python, C, or C++ in coursework or projects.
• Understanding of software testing concepts and test automation.
• Experience with Linux development environments.
• Exposure to CAN or Ethernet networks in vehicles.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute verification for AV/ADAS platform in HIL/SIL/VIL.
• Run tests, analyze diagnostics, and triage issues across vehicle scope.
• Build and improve test environments and automation frameworks.
• Ensure tests meet ISO 26262/SOTIF/FMVSS standards where applicable.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, and infrastructure teams.
