Job summary

Ford is seeking an ADAS Verification & Validation Engineer to define, develop, and verify customer-facing ADAS features such as Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Centering, Lane Keeping, and BlueCruise. You will implement feature requirements and functional safety, validate through HIL/MIL/SIL, and collaborate with research, UX, and suppliers to ensure vehicle performance.

The role emphasizes data analysis, test vector development, model changes, and regression testing across vehicle programs.

Qualifications

• Experience developing/testing features using radars, cameras, lidars, or other vehicle sensors.
• Familiarity with actuators and control systems.
• Strong systems engineering foundation and verification skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute validation methods for ADAS HMD features at component, system, and vehicle levels.
• Lead verification plans and methods; sign off feature performance.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and suppliers to design/verify tests and data analyses.
• Develop data-analysis techniques from track and real-world validation data.
• Coordinate with feature development engineers to ensure feature-level performance.
• Plan real-world evaluations via vehicle/HIL/virtual testing; identify issues.
