Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking an ADAS Sensing Systems Validation Engineer to validate and improve sensing performance across the vehicle lineup. You will design and execute validation methods at component, system, and vehicle levels, considering diverse environments and cross-carline variability.

You will define use cases and performance targets, collaborate with Hardware/Software teams, and drive V&V improvements using HIL and CAE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related engineering/CS field.
• 2+ years of validation/test engineering experience.
• Experience with data collection and analysis in lab, HIL, and vehicle test environments.
• Knowledge of ADAS sensing systems (radars, cameras, lidars, etc.).
• Proficiency with Vector CANalyzer and CANape.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Validate and improve ADAS sensing system performance across Ford's vehicle lineup.
• Develop and execute validation methods at component, system, and vehicle levels.
• Define use cases, functional requirements, and performance targets for ADAS sensing systems.
• Collaborate with Hardware/Software, Systems Engineering, and Suppliers to align V&V activities.
• Develop and refine test methods using HIL/CAE methodologies.
• Champion continuous improvement of V&V processes.
