Qualifikationen

• Minimum 18 years of age and high school graduate or GED.
• Education may vary per department: 48 college units, CAPE, or 12 units in Child Development or related field.
• 1–2 years advanced experience with participants with special needs/social-emotional/behavior support ages 0-21.
• CPR/AED and First Aid Certification within 30 days of hire from eligible organizations.

Aufgaben

• Assist in inclusion of participants into typical program days.
• Work individually with a participant with special needs.
• Ensure safety and well-being of participants including personal care hygiene.
• Implement behavior strategies to support participants in the program.
• Provide supervision and be a positive role model to participants and families.
